Our role in the community

At Muller Dairy we believe that our involvement with our local community is less of a 'project' and more of a philosophy.

If you're a Market Drayton local, chances are you either work for us or you know someone who does, such is the presence of Müller Dairy in the local community. We take pride in our role as the biggest employer and contributor to the local economy. We play a big part in our small community, not only as an employer, but also as a champion for Shropshire.

Throughout the year, we contribute to local life through events, fundraising, employee volunteering, farm visits for primary school children and educational support. In fact, in 2010 and 2011 we were awarded with a Rural Action big Tick by Business in the Community for our programme of activities that have benefitted the lives of people in North Shropshire. We received the award as a result of our focus on education in the local community and genuine commitment to our supply chain. This is one of five CSR awards we have received since 2009.
