Recognition for our achievements so far

We’re continually setting higher and higher targets for the future, but here are some of the acheivements we’re particularly proud of so far:
- Gold award in the ‘Environment Business Best Practice’ category of the Food and Drink Federation's (FDF) Community Partnership Awards 2009. This was for our environmental programme, which has enabled us to minimise the impact of our business on the environment and ensure our environmental strategy is embraced across our entire company.

- Silver in the ‘Local Community’ category of the Food and Drink Federation (FDF) Community Partnership Awards 2009. This rewarded our programme of activities that have benefitted the lives of people in North Shropshire.

- 2010 Business in the Community Big Tick for ‘Excellence in the Rural Action’ category. Awarded after we demonstrated the range of projects we’ve undertaken and the positive impacts made on a variety of local rural community groups.

Stephen Howard, Chief Executive, Business in the Community, said:
“I congratulate Müller Dairy on achieving their Big Tick. It’s been a difficult 12 months for business, but this is a sign that companies are not losing their focus on making a positive impact on people and planet. Consumers need to see that businesses are proactive, visible and engaged on the big issues of the day, as Müller Dairy has demonstrated.”

- 2010 Finalist in The Grocer Magazine’s Green Supplier of the Year Award. This award recognises the food and drink supplier that did the most in 2009 to lessen its impact on the environment, maximise retail customer engagement and change consumer behaviour.

- 2011 Business in the Community Big Tick for 'Excellence in the Rural Action' category. Re-accredited after we demonstrated our continued commitment to the rural education projects we initiated in 2009/10 along with the positive impacts made on a variety of local community groups.
